Verti cutting and scarification opertaions should be carried out before application, especially when using controlled release fertilisers

Do not apply during frosty or excessive temperatures

Ensure turf is dry during application if possible

Always follow manufactureres recommended rates or use and timings

Fill spreader hopper away from treatment to avaoid damage caused by spillage

Apply evenly using double pass method

Watering in is recommended

Thoroughly clean applicator after use

Take precautions when applying near water

Keep records of all fertiliser application
