Do's

• Use clean water to check......
  The sprayer for leaks
  The lance cut off valve is working properly
  The spray pattern is correct and nozzle flow rate is within
  5% of manufacturers stated output
• Fill up in a designated pesticide handling area take care to avoid
  splashing pesticide concentrate when filling knapsack.
• Read the label before use and follow instructions.
• Triple rinse containers, measuring jugs and place washings in knapsack.
• Apply the correct dose rate at all times.
• Clean up thoroughly after spraying, triple rinse the spray tank, flush through
  the lance with clean water.
• Dispose of washing onto the treated area.
• Dispose of cleaned water packaging safely.
• Use stored water or a double check valve.

Don'ts

• Avoid filling over hard ground or concrete areas unless bunded.
• Never take water directly from a water course, borehole or directly
  from a domestic supply.
• Never fill near a water course.
• Never wash splashes or spills into drains.
• Never be tempted to overdose either when filling the tank or during application.
• Never overspray buffer zones or watercourses.
• Avoid spray drift at all times.
