SeaVolution Granular contains three different seaweed
types, each component has a different benefit,
50% of micronised Ascophyllum nodosum
Fast acting - is available to the plant straight away and will breakdown completely within 6 weeks of application.
Ascophyllum nodosum is fresh, hand harvested seaweed, that undergoes a unique cold extraction process to help breakdown the seaweed cell. Due to this process SeaVolution Granular retains its naturally occuring high levels of micronutrients and alginates.
25% Ascophyllum seaweed meal
Slow Release - this conventional seaweed will break down within 4 months of application.
25% Calcified Seaweed
With more than 25% of natural calcium and about 3% of natural magnesium, this product benefits the turf both directly and indirectly.
How SeaVolution Granular Works
Fast and slow release
SeaVolution Granular contains a high level of organic matter, in particular natural carbon. This carbon source is immediately available, allowing soil microbial life to develop rapidly such as nitrogen-fixing bacteria. The low temperatures used during the production process ensures the product is rich in antioxidants, in particular polyphenols which play an important role in the nitrogen cycle.
Ascophyllum nodosum contains more than 60 elemental sources beneficial to the turf grass plant. These nutritional elements become available to the plant as a result of both moisture and microbial activity over an extended period of time.
Calcium
Applying SeaVolution Granular ensures the availability of a naturally occuring calcium directly into the soil profile, improving root development. The presence of calcium also has the effect of strengthening the plant cell walls and improves nitrogen use efficiency.
Calcified seaweed
The natural calcified seaweed used in SeaVolution Granular contains significant amounts of natural magnesium, an essential part of chlorophyll production.
